Former Green Bay Packers and N.C. State defensive lineman Carlos Gray was found shot to death near his home in Birmingham, Ala., according to a report Tuesday by the Associated Press.

The AP reported the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said the 25-year-old Gray, a graduate of Oak Ridge High School in Pinson, Ala., was found before 10 p.m. Monday evening.
