The SEC Network announced Monday that former University of Georgia quarterback and Atlanta Falcon D.J. Shockley is joining the network as an analyst.

Shockley led the 2005 Georgia team to the SEC Championship, where he was awarded MVP, and was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 2006. He is currently a sideline reporter for the Falcons’ preseason games.

Shockley will debut on “SEC Now” this week, according to the network.
