Former Auburn quarterback Jeremy Johnson has signed with the Arena Football League's Peach State Cats, the AL.com's James Crepea reported over the weekend.

While the terms of the deal were not detailed by the Peach State Cats, Johnson is expected to join the team which begins its eight-game season against the Carolina Cowboys at the Dalton Convention Center on March 24.

In four seasons at Auburn from 2013-2016, Johnson went 7-4 as a starter and threw for 2,223 yards, 20 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Johnson, who went undrafted in 2017, also rushed for 210 yards and nine touchdowns.

In January, Johnson joined the coaching staff at Carver High School, his alma mater, in Montgomery, Ala.
