A woman in suburban Kansas City listed her wedding ring on Craigslist last week -- all she wanted in return was tickets to the Dec. 1 Chiefs-Broncos game at Arrowhead.

The woman selling the rings happily told the Kansas City Star Thursday that she has found her sucker, er buyer.

The buyer? A man whose girlfriend saw the listing "Will trade diamond wedding ring for Chiefs vs Broncos Tickets" and hinted at a wedding engagement.

To put it in context, the Chiefs are the only remaining undefeated team in the NFL and their bitter rivalry against the 8-1 Broncos goes back decades. The two teams meet this weekend in Denver.

The nearly 1-carat engagement ring, holding a round brilliant cut-diamond (.45 carats) set in a white-gold band contained 20 smaller stones weighing .50 carats was appraised for $2,800. A matching wedding band has 10 more small diamonds with a weight of .25 carats.

What did she get in return? Two tickets in the lower bowl near an endzone for the Broncos game, and two tickets additional tickets for the Nov. 24 Chargers game.

Tickets in that section are bidding between $165 and $400 for both games on various ticket-resale websites.

Good deal?

But before you think the seller was some heartless wife who puts not faith in her marriage, she notes that "the rings were from a previous marriage and have no emotional importance to her anymore."

The buyer gets marital bliss ... that is, if she says yes.
