Super Bowl 50 between the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos will be broadcast Feb. 7, 2016, on CBS.

CBS's coverage of Super Bowl 50 will begin at 11 a.m., with seven hours of pregame content before the 6:30 p.m. kickoff from Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

The 6 p.m. "Kick-off Show" will feature  pre-game musical performances, the singing of the national anthem, team introductions and a special tribute to Super Bowl MVPs. Singer Lady Gaga will perform the Star-Spangled Banner before the game. The British rock band Coldplay will be the halftime entertainment.

Announcers Jim Nantz and Phil Simms will call the game.

The broadcast - CBS's 19th Super Bowl overall - will feature a few technological firsts. Thirty-six cameras strung around the upper deck of Levi's Stadium will capture a 360-degree perspective for replays. The network will also offer a quarterback's view from to pocket during some plays. Custom-molded pylons with cameras and microphones will help capture the action from the goal lines and sidelines.
