Here's what the Falcons said after the loss to the Titans:

DESMOND TRUFANT, cornerback

On the fans booing: "It's deserved. We haven't been playing (like) we are supposed to. It is what it is."

On good practices translating to Sunday: "We just have to correct the mistakes. We don't have to sulk. We are playing another team with great players coming up this week. We have to be ready to fight, that's all we can do."

On his emotions following the loss today: "We had a bad game, you know? Took it on the chin tonight, so all we can do is watch the film, learn from it and move on."

On the team's slow starts this season: "It just hasn't been bouncing our way. I know tonight I didn't play well at all, but you know all I can do is watch the film. The first quarter [of the season] is over, all we can do is come back and work hard next week."

On how the Titans were able to get off to a fast start: "Like I said, we just didn't play well tonight. We had been playing well up until this point, but it didn't carry over today. They got me on a couple of plays, you know so we just have to bounce back."

On this team so far: "We definitely haven't started the way we wanted to, but luckily we've got three-quarters of football left so there's still a lot for us to do out there. I'm just ready to bounce back, ready to get back to work and keep pushing."

ALEX MACK, center

On the Titans: "We knew that this team was going to take shots and that it was going to be a close game. They do a lot of things. We had to make big plays and we didn't quite do that. We didn't have any big plays early and we had to make them hurt when they took shots. The game got lop-sided and we lost out opportunity to stay multi-dimensional. They knew we were through the ball and that's tough to do."

On the running game: "It's tough to run the ball when you're down by a lot of points with the time is running out. You need to stay on track, on schedule. We didn't do that."

On the slow starts: "If I knew the exact answer, I'd fix it. Games are tough. It comes down to a couple of pivotal moments and things can certainly get lopsided. We just need to stay on track and keep working hard."

On losing to AFC teams: "I think whoever we play, we have to start playing better. I think it will come down to 11 guys on the field all at once being detailed and executing one play at a time. That's all it takes. We need to execute when it's our chance.

On the booing: "That is not what you want to hear, but we have to play better."

On if he understands where they are coming from: "I would like them to be loud on third downs for the defense. And of course, on offense, we have to play better."

On practice translating to good play on Sunday: "It will come down to watching the film and see where we can get better."

GRADY JARRETT, defensive tackle

On the game: "We are coming out on the wrong side of it for the last couple of games. We finished the first quarter of the season. We have a lot of games in front of us. Lot of NFC play, lot of division games ahead of us. It's cliché at this point, but we've got to learn from the lessons that we've been going through at this point. We've got to get right."

On soul searching in the locker room after the game: "I wouldn't say soul-searching."

On why good practices haven't translated to the games: "We can practice as good as we want to, we have to come out here and win the games. That's the business that we're in, we have to put a good product on the field and find a way to get the win. It's unfortunate that we're coming out on the wrong side of things the last couple of games, but I feel like it's just the first quarter of our season. We still have a lot of stuff ahead of us, a lot of NFC play, lot of division play. It's cliché at this point but we've got to learn from our lessons that we've been going through as of late. We just have to get right."

On the post-game locker room mood: "I don't want to make this more difficult than it already is, we have to execute better on game day. Nothing more, nothing less. We work hard but it doesn't matter unless you perform on game day."

JAKE MATTHEWS, left tackle

On what the team is lacking: "We're just not executing. It's like, there's a time when we're rolling but we're not scoring enough points, obviously. We need to be more consistent and not hurt ourselves. We've got work to do. That's the gist of it."

On dealing with injuries on the offensive line: "I think we did a good job preparing for anyone to come in. I think Wes [Schweitzer] did a pretty good job today coming in. It doesn't matter who's in. We've got to get it done. That's the nature of the game and we didn't do that today."

On what needs to change: "Obviously, what we're doing now isn't working. The change is to start winning. We need to prepare well in the week. We need to get back to what worked for us really well. Just knowing the characteristics of the people in this locker room, I know we're going to take the challenge and do that."

JULIO JONES, wide receiver

On what's wrong with the offense: "I don't know. I have to go watch film."

On fixing the offense: "I don't know. I can't really tell you as far as today because today was a totally different game than last week. I can't tell you want went on yet. I have to watch the film."

On if they can get it turned around: "It's just one game at a time for us. We just have to please each other. We can't please everybody. People are going to have their opinions on the team and what we are doing and whatever. This is out life. We come to work every day. We are in it for one another. That's all we need. We don't need nobody else. We'll make it happen. We just have to believe and keep working."

On hearing the booing: "I don't hear that (expletive). I don't really care, if they did boo. For me, it's about between the white lines. Like, they can't control if the cheer or boo for me, I'm just going to ball. I'm going to do what I need to do for my teammates."

On the slow starts: "I don't know. It's kind of hard to figure out this game, because last week was a different game. We got off to a slow start, but it's hard to see what happened this game because I haven't watched film yet to see this was the cause of us getting off to a slow start."

On Hooper and Sanu's big games: "Coming out, they definitely were Cover 6 and Two-man. For the most part of the whole game they just doubled me and were like, 'hey, make somebody else beat us today." You just have to take advantage of it."

On the Titans: "Throughout the week you study what your opponent is going to do in certain situations. They came out. They had a better scheme. They changed up their defense on us. And that's, that. I wouldn't say that put us behind, because we are a good enough football team to go out and make plays."

On practice not making it to Sunday: "We practiced well. We did everything great. We have referees out there everyday and everything went smoothly. The execution was there. Everything was there. It just didn't happen in the game."

On dealing with rough times: "It's not rough. It's just a mentality. One game at a time. You win one and then you get going. Then you win the next one. Then the next one and so forth, but it's only one game at a time for us. We just have to keep working and get it turned around."

On getting it turned around: "I wake up every morning and see these guys and the way they work and everything. We have the talented and we have the coaching staff. We just have to put it all together. We have to figure it out. We have to do and we will."

On if Dan Quinn's message is still getting through: "Of course it is. It's just that man, hey. It's just games. I don't understand. We are a high powered offense, but we scored 10 points today. I can't tell you how we only scored 10 points, but I have to go back and look and say we could have done this better. We could have done that better. That's the NFL. We've got to fix it.
