Weatherspoon a spectator at practice
Sean Weatherspoon was at Falcons practice Monday – as a spectator of course.
The linebacker is out for the season after suffering a torn left Achilles tendon during the offseason.
Weatherspoon, dressed all in black including a floppy hat, watched most of practice and interacted with several players.
He was a big hit with the film crew of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” series as a group shadowed Weatherspoon for nearly the entire practice and taped and recorded several conversations.
In other injury news, running back Steven Jackson (hamstring) and offensive lineman Gabe Carimi (ankle) worked out on the side Monday.
