Yes, Bucco Bruce is back. Tampa Bay won its first game of the season while sporting its orange and white uniforms from 1976-96. Ironically, the Bucs never won much in orange and white. Tampa Bay wore them during 18 losing seasons, including a 0-26 start from 1976-77.

The last time the Denver Broncos wore their brown helmets with mustard yellow jersey and vertical-stripes socks from 1960, fans burned them in effigy. Different decade, different story. The team went 2-0 donning the retro uni, and the socks are so popular in Denver that the team shop can't keep on the shelves.

Pat Patriot returned to Foxborough -- OK, so the old Patriots never played in Foxborough, you get the point -- as did the team's classic red, white and blue look from 1963.

The New York Jets' throwback version of the 1960 New York Titans has become a most familiar option. The team has worn Titans garb three times this year.

Before the blue and silver, there was white and silver. The Cowboys resurrected the original 1960s look -- which included a white helmet adorned with a simple blue star and blue jerseys with white sleeves and a small blue star on each shoulder -- in 2004.

From the stands these Chiefs uniforms may not look so different. The red and white uniform with a red helmet featuring an outline of the state of Texas pays tribute to when they played in Dallas from 1960-62 and were known as the Texans.

The Tennessee Titans -- not to be confused with those from New York -- have appeared in uniforms of the 1960 Houston Oilers team, which featured a white jersey with red accents and a blue helmet with a derrick.

The Chargers' original look has returned in fazes through the years. Can you catch the subtle difference that makes this the 1963 version? ... If you guessed the gold bolt along the pant stripe, you've been paying attention.
