New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady released a statement Friday night after a judge overruled his suspension due to the deflategate saga.
A judge erased his four-game suspension for deflategate Thursday. The surprise ruling by U.S. District Judge Richard Berman came after more than one month of failed settlement talks between the NFL and its players' union.

Brady was quiet until Friday night. The quarterback posted the following statement on Facebook just before 10 p.m. thanking those who have helped him along the way and saying he looks forward to competition on the field:
