The last time the Falcons had the 27th pick in the NFL Draft - where they pick this year - they picked Roddy White, and things have worked out. Who else has been available and taken at No. 27 over the years? Here are all the 27th overall selections in the draft to have made a Pro Bowl.

The last time the Falcons made a selection with the 27th pick in the NFL Draft they picked Roddy White (with former coach Jim Mora). Things have worked out with that 2005 selection. White is one of the league's best receivers having made three Pro Bowls. Who else has been available and taken at No. 27 over the years? Here are all the 27th overall selections in the draft to have made a Pro Bowl.

1983, QB Dan Marino, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh: 1983 was the draft of the quarterback with John Elway, Jim Kelly, Ken O'Brien and Todd Blackledge among the other first round picks. Marino, the sixth selected in the first round, may have been the best.

At one point Marino, a nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback and the 1984 league MVP, held most NFL passing records including most completions, yards and TD passes (all surpassed by Brett Favre).

Marino was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005. The one thing missing from his long career was a Super Bowl win. Marino lost his only Super Bowl appearance in the 1985 to Joe Montana and the 49ers.

2005, WR Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons, UAB: White's career may have gotten off to a slow start, but few receivers can rival his last three seasons in Atlanta. He finished each with more than 1,000 yards and in the Pro Bowl.

White is now a star. He led the NFL this season with 115 catches, was No. 2 in the NFL this season with 1,389 yards (his fourth-straight 1,000-yard season) and had 10 scores.

White already holds at least five team records including most catches in a season, receiving yards in a season and yards in a game. He signed a six-year, $48 million extension before the 2009 season.

1986, RB Neal Anderson, Chicago Bears, Florida: Five of the 11 Pro Bowl players to come from the 27th spot in the draft are running backs. But Florida great Anderson was the only one of the five to make more than two Pro Bowls, going four times (1988-91). He finished his career with more than 6,000 yards and 51 touchdowns following Walter Payton as the Bears' starter.

2003, RB Larry Johnson, Kansas City Chiefs, Penn State: Johnson's 416 carries in 2006, broke the NFL record for carries Falcon Jamal Anderson set in the 1998 Super Bowl season. Johnson had back-to-back 1,700-yard seasons in 2005 and '06, his two Pro Bowl years.

2010, CB Devin McCourty, New England Patriots, Rutgers: McCourty (32) made the Pro Bowl as a rookie this season, giving him something in common with Dan Marino. Of the group of No. 27 picks to make the Pro Bowl, only Marino and now McCourty were selected in their rookie season. McCourty had seven picks this year.

2004, OLB Jason Babin, Houston Texans, Western Michigan: The move to Tennessee this year looks to be a good one. With his sixth team in seven seasons, the journeyman made the Pro Bowl this season finishing with 12.5 sacks.

1980, RB Charles White, Cleveland Browns, USC: White is the only Heisman winner in the group, taking the trophy in 1979 before being picked next to last in the first round of the draft. He did very little in Cleveland before heading home to L.A. and the Rams. He went to the '87 Pro Bowl and was the comeback player of the year.

1977, QB Tommy Kramer, Minnesota Vikings, Rice: The year before Charles White's big season, in 1986 Kramer, another 27th overall pick, had his one Pro Bowl season and was also named comeback player of the year. He threw for 3,000 yards in '86 including having 490 yards passing in a loss.

2006, RB DeAngelo Williams, Carolina Panthers, Memphis: Williams hasn't quite been able to match his 2008 season when he led the league with 18 rushing TDs and ran for more than 1,500 yards. He followed with a 1,000 yard season in '09, but missed much of the 2010 season with an injury.

2001, RB Michael Bennett, Minnesota Vikings, Wisconsin: Bennett has hung around the league, playing in Oakland last year, but he has yet to match the success of his first two seasons with the Vikings. He topped 600 yards as a rookie and his 1,296 yards in 2002 earned him a spot in the Pro Bowl.

1984, OG William Roberts, New York Giants, Ohio State: Roberts only has one Pro Bowl appearance (1990), but he does have two Super Bowl rings. He won both with the Giants, in 1987 and 1991. Roberts is the only one of the 11 No. 27 picks that made the Pro Bowl to also win a Super Bowl.
