If you're not super-psyched about Sunday's Super Bowl matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers, maybe this will be enough to make you tune in.
Beyonce, who will be performing the halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII, posted an image of herself in her Tumblr posing in a referee uniform tighter than Ed Hochuli's. (Don't know who that is? Well, he won't be umpiring at this year's game anyway.)
Whether Beyonce will take the field at New Orlean's Superdome in the sexy outfit is not known. Whether she'll be reuninting on stage with members of Destiny's Child is an even bigger unknown.
If the Falcons' loss in the NFC Championship game has soured your interest in the game, there are a few players with Georgia connections you can keep root for, and then of course there are always the ads. But if you're sill interested in the game, the AJC's Jeff Schultz is in the Big Easy giving you updates. Yeah, he has it real tough.
New Orleans will be in a festive mood for the next week. The Super Bowl host will turn more festive with Mardi Gras next Wednesday. Though NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell won't likely be invited to stay.
