Shembo to move back outside

Feb 22, 2015

Falcons linebacker Prince Shembo is being moved to outside linebacker after playing inside linebacker last season.

“Right now, I see him working back outside,” Falcons coach Dan Quinn said on Thursday. “I’m looking forward to working with him. We evaluated him as an inside linebacker from the tape."

Shembo, a fourth-round pick last season, was forced to play inside after the Falcons lost Sean Weatherspoon for the season to an Achilles injury. He split time with Joplo Bartu.
