Falcons director of player personnel Lionel Vital, who has been with the team for six seasons, is set to interview for the vacant Tampa Bay general manager’s position, according to a report by profootballtalk.com.

Vital, 50, just completed his first season as the director of player personnel. He was the assistant director for the five previous seasons.

Vital, 50, replaced David Caldwell, who became Jacksonville’s general manger after the 2012 season.

Vital, a native of Loreauville, Louisiana, has also worked with Cleveland, Baltimore, the New York Jets and New England over his 23-year scouting career.
