3 questions with Babineaux on the pass rush

Oct 21, 2015

FLOWERY BRANCH – Falcons defensive tackle is the senior member of the defensive line rotation.

The coaching staff focused on solutions to getting the pass rush cranked up over the mini-bye.

Here’s what Babineaux had to say:

Q: How can you all get the pass rush to be more effective?

A: "We just have to get back in the rhythm. Continue to work on the small things, the detailed things. All of the things that we do in practice and transition them to the game. If we just continue to work on them, I think we'll be all right."

Q: What’s a counter move?

A: "Just having a different move. If one move doesn't work, you have to have next move to back it up in order to be effective in the pass rush."

Q: Does everyone have counter moves?

A: "I think we all know how to do it. It's just a matter of reacting and doing it."
