The Falcons selected Mississippi defensive tackle Peria Jerry in the first round of Saturday's NFL draft.

Looking for a replacement for departed safety Lawyer Milloy, the Falcons grabbed Missouri's William Moore with their second-round pick.

Looking to add depth at cornerback the Falcons drafted Chris Owens, from San Jose State, in the third round. Owens, 5-foot-9 and 181 pounds, has six interceptions as a junior.

Lawrence Sidbury, a defensive end from the University of Richmond, was selected by the Falcons in the fourth round. Sidbury posted the fastest 40-yard dash time (4.5 seconds) at the scouting combine in the group of defensive lineman.

William Middleton (1), a cornerback from Marist High and Furman, was selected by the Falcons in the fifth round (138th). Middleton, 5-10, 193-pounds, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds during his pro day workout in March.

Garrett Reynolds, an offensive tackle from North Carolina, was picked in the fifth round (156th overall) by Atlanta. A Second Team All-ACC selection, Reynolds started the last 26 games of his college career at right tackle.

With the 176th overall pick (6th round), the Falcons selected Miami linebacker Spencer Adkins (48). The 5-foot-11, 246 pounder has played in 21 games in three seasons at Coral Gables. He's notched 55 tackles (29 solo), four tackles for loss, one sack and one interception in his college career.

With their final pick in the draft (7th round, 210 overall), the Falcons selected Georgia Tech defensive tackle Vance Walker (99). Walker started 29 games at Tech, recording 110 total tackles, 26.5 for a loss and 13 sacks.
