NFL Draft first-round firsts in 2017

The Falcons’ 26th overall selection marked the first time since 1995 that Atlanta made a selection at the that spot in the NFL Draft.

Mississippi tight end Evan Engram (No. 23; New York Giants) was the first Rebels tight end selected in the first round since 1967. An alum of Hillgrove High School in Powder Springs, Ga., Engram was the fifth tight end in school history to be drafted since 1967.
