Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has been labeled the NFL's most handsome signal caller.

Researchers -- yes, someone researched this -- have named Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan as the most handsome signal caller in the NFL based on the symmetry of his face -- a trait that, according to a Wall Street Journal report, shows a strong correlation to a person's perceived attractiveness. Ryan scored 99.8%, but he's more than a pretty face ... he was the NFL Rookie of the Year for 2008 and an ESPY winner.

Coming in second on the list of the NFL's best looking quarterbacks with a 99.78% symmetry rating and all the Robert Redford charm is Brett Favre. Researchers say facial symmetry is an indicator of success. But mentioned nothing about decision making?

He's no Brett Favre, so Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers had to follow his former teammate in this, too. The green-eyed Packer achieved 99.59% on the symmetry scale.

Who says bald guys don't get the looks? Seattle's Matt Hasselback notches a 99.56% on the symmetry scale. Researcher Ursinus College professor Jennifer VanGilder told the Wall Street Journal that, "Socially, we've been trained to think that the quarterback is the most beautiful person on the team." Can we get a recount?

Titans quarterback Kerry Collins cracked the Top 5 with a 99.49% facial symmetry rating. Did we mention that no NFL starter got a rating below 96%?

With only a face a mother could love, Pittsburgh's Ben Roethlisberger tips in at 99.43% on the symmetry scale. Well, he does have two Super Bowls.

Shaun Hill will start the 2010 season with the Lions, but if he falls flat, he's got this to make him feel better.

Rounding out the top 10 best-looking quarterbacks in the NFL is Kurt Warner. (Does it matter that he's now retired from the Cardinals?) That's right, no Matthew Stafford, Tony Romo, Brady Quinn or Peyton Manning -- good thing they all wear facemasks.
