Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan did not practice with the team Tuesday because of a personal matter.

Ryan is not injured. The team said he may have returned to the team before the end of practice, but did not. Ryan was in the team’s practice facility before having to attend an appointment. Ryan and his wife are expecting twins, but it is not known if that was the nature of his appointment.

Coach Dan Quinn will address the media about Ryan following the workout.

The Falcons play the Eagles in an NFC Divisional playoff game Saturday.
