Here are three key matchups for the Falcons at Rams wild-card playoff game at 8:15 p.m. Saturday at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum:

Falcons RG Wes Schweitzer and C Alex Mack vs. Rams DT Aaron Donald: Schweitzer, a first-year starter, has played well down the stretch of the season. The Falcons will have to double-team Donald at times, and that's where Mack comes in to help. Donald tied for the NFL lead in tackles for losses with Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, with 15. Donald was voted to his fourth Pro Bowl. His quickness and penetrating style of play has the potential to give Schweitzer fits.

Falcons RB Devonta Freeman vs. Rams LB Alec Ogletree:  Freeman suffered a knee injury against the Panthers and missed some time at practice. The Falcons average 115.4 yards rushing per game, which ranked 13th in the league. Ogletree, who's from Newnan and played at Georgia, is the Rams' leading tackler with 95. The Rams give up 122.4 yards rushing per game, which ranks 28th in the league.

Falcons CB Desmond Trufant vs. Rams WR Cooper Kupp: Trufant has two interceptions on the season and has recovered three fumbles. In coverage, he has 12 pass breakups. Kupp is second on the Rams in receptions, with 62 for 869 yards and five touchdowns. Kupp, a third-round pick from Eastern Washington, is a smooth route runner with deceptive speed.
