Former Georgia running back Elijah Holyfield ran the 40-yard dash in an unofficial 4.76 seconds at the NFL scouting combine Friday.

The target time for running backs is 4.55 seconds.

Holyfield was measured at 5-foot-10 and weighed 217 pounds.

He lifted 225 pounds 26 times and had a vertical jump of 29.5 inches.

He has a player rating of 5.81 by NFL.com. Players rated between 5.50 and 5.99  “should become instant starter” in the league.

"There is love on these scouting streets for him and then you have people who see him as a good backup," said one  AFC Scouting director.
