Falcons defensive coach Bryan Cox had a special helper at practice on Monday.

Former Buffalo Bills star and Pro Football Hall of Famer Bruce Smith was on hand to help with the defensive line.

Cox and Smith went over their plan before the players came out.

Cox had defensive Malliciah Goodman come over to meet Smith before practice started.

Smith, 52, who played from 1985 to 2003, for Buffalo (1985-99) and with Washington (2000-03), finished his career with 200 sacks. The former Virginia Tech standout was an 11-time Pro Bowler and eight-time first-team All-Pro. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2009.
