Here are five things to know about the Falcons on Friday:

1. Run defense must step up. The Falcons run defense, which has been leaking oil during the three-game losing streak, will be tested by Jets running backs Bilal Powell, Matt Forte and intriguing rookie Elijah McGuire.

2. Riley has knee surgery. The Falcons minimally report injuries and have said that linebacker Duke Riley is week to week despite having knee surgery on Thursday. He reportedly suffered a torn meniscus, according to ESPN.com. The recovery time for meniscus surgery is three to four weeks, according to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

3. Julio Jones on his targets. Falcons All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones believes the offense is coming together.

4. Bowles on the Falcons. Here's what New York Jets coach Todd Bowles had to say about the Falcons during his conference call with the media.

5. Where to watch, listen to the game. The Atlanta Falcons (3-3) are set to face the surprising New York Jets (3-4) at 1 p.m. Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
