The Falcons selected defensive tackle Deadrin Senat from South Florida in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft on Friday. He was the 90th overall pick.

Senat is 6-foot and 314 pounds. He lifted 225 pounds 35 times at the NFL scouting combine. He had 179 career tackles and 23.5 tackles for losses.

The Falcons had a need at defensive tackle after letting Dontari Poe leave in free agency.
