The Falcons on Tuesday issued their much-awaited preseason game release, which includes the team’s first depth chart.

While the release is official, the depth chart somehow is called “unofficial.”

There are a few surprises, including the listings of rookie defensive tackle Peria Jerry on the first team, cornerback Christopher Owens on the second team and cornerback Brent Grimes as the No. 1 punt-returner.

Also, D.J. Shockley is listed as the No. 3 quarterback behind Matt Ryan and Chris Redman. John Parker Wilson in the fourth quarterback.
