Falcons open as first-ever No. 6 seed to be favored

The Falcons advanced to the divisional round of the NFC playoffs with Saturday’s Wild Card win over the Rams and will play the Eagles at 4:35 p.m. Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field. The game will be televised by NBC.

The No. 6 seeded Falcons, the defending NFC champions, opened as a 2.5-point favorites against the No. 1 seeded Eagles, according to wagering site 5Dimes.

It’s the first time a No. 6 seed has been favored in a playoff game.
