Falcons wide receiver/kick returner Devin Hester (hamstring) and wide receiver Harry Douglas (foot) did not practice on Thursday.

Falcons coach Mike Smith said he anticipates that Hester, who was in the weight room working out during the open portion of practice, will play against the Bears on Sunday.

Douglas’ injury is more serious that previously reported as he appears ready to miss his third straight game.

Five Falcons practiced on a limited basis: guard Justin Blalock (back), safety Kemal Ishmael (ankle), wide receiver Julio Jones (ankle), tackle Jake Matthews (ankle) and linebacker Prince Shembo (knee).
