They also will hold clinics at Notre Dame High in Chattanooga, Tenn., on April 20; at Howard High in Macon on April 27; at Tift County High on May 9; and in Birmingham, Ala., on May 17.

The clinics are designed to provide information to moms who have children who are considering or play tackle football. The clinics will include classroom instruction on proper equipment fitting, concussion awareness and proper tackling techniques. One of the sessions will include include on-field drills and moms are asked to wear tennis shoes and athletic apparel.

There is no cost for the clinics, but participation is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Moms interested in the camps can register on the team's website.

Check-in will begin at 6 p.m. and food and beverages will be provided at check-in. The clinics will take place from 7-9 p.m.

The team’s community relations department is also working a youth football camp that will be held in Columbus and hosted by Columbus native and Falcons linebacker Philip Wheeler.
