Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, who has a 26-6 record in games played in domed stadiums, hopes to add Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Stadium to the list of places he has conquered.

Here’s a brief Q&A involving Ryan and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s D. Orlando Ledbetter.

Q: What do you make of this 0-8 Colts team?

A: It's still a good team, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Week in and week out, any team can beat any team in the NFL. It's just kind of the nature of the league. When you look at this football team, they've played really well at home, defensively. They've got a lot of talented guys that are not that far removed from being a playoff team and being a perennial high-powered defense.

Q: Is getting off to a fast start key against a down team like the Colts?

A: It's important to start fast every week, no question about that, especially when you go on the road against a defense that's really good with the pass rush, very good at playing the Cover-2, keeping things in front.

Q: Are the comparisons to Peyton Manning fair at this point in your career?

A: First of all, I've got a long way to go to catch up to him. He's really probably the top at what he does in this sport.
