The Falcons returned to practice Tuesday, but running back Tevin Coleman (concussion protocol) was not on the field during the portion of practice that was open to the media.

Left guard Andy Levitre (triceps injury) was at practice, but did not have his helmet nor did he participate in drills.

Coach Dan Quinn confirmed after practice that Coleman remains in the NFL concussion protocol and that Levitre did not practice.

It was the Falcons’ first practice since they defeated the New Orleans Saints 20-17 on Thursday.

The Falcons (8-5) are preparing to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-9) at 8:30 p.m. Monday at Raymond James Stadium.

The Falcons are one game behind New Orleans (9-4) and Carolina (9-4) in the NFC South, with three games to play.

If the Falcons win their remaining games they will repeat as NFC South champions.
