Falcons rise in NFL Power Rankings after win over Saints

Dec 12, 2017The Atlanta Falcons rose two spots on USA Today’s NFL Power Rankings with Thursday night’s win over the New Orleans Saints.
The Falcons, now at the eighth spot on USA Today’s rankings, have had a few days off before traveling to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to play the second of four-straight division games.
“After starting 7-5 last season, they made it all the way to the Super Bowl. Atlanta hasn't, ahem, lost this year, either, since starting 7-5,” USA Today’s rationale read.
