Georgia State’s offensive line issues may be recurring.

Starting guard Taylor Evans sustained an arm injury over the weekend and is questionable for Wednesday’s season-opening game against Abilene Christian at the Georgia Dome. Coach Trent Miles said Evans will be evaluated today.

Evans signed with Panthers after a year at Saddleback College.

If Evans can’t play, Garrett Gorringe will start.

Georgia State hasn’t been able to keep a consistent set of starters on the line in two years. Last year’s line at one point was down to its fifth-string center because of injuries. Other starters missed games because of suspensions. Two starters quit after the season’s second game.

Back-up lineman Steve Wolgamott, out the past two weeks with a knee injury, is listed as probable. He is working with the second-team.
