Nine minutes before news broke that Atlanta Hawks center Dwight Howard was part of a trade with the Charlotte Hornets, Howard asked his Twitter followers if they had any thoughts about NBA trades or the upcoming NBA Draft.

The news that Howard and the Hawks’ 31st pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft would be traded for Hornets’ Miles Plumlee, Marco Belinelli and the 41st overall pick in the 2017 Draft broke at 9:04 p.m. by The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Just before Wojnarowski’s tweet, Howard— who as of Wednesday morning already has a Hornets’ themed cover photo and profile picture on Twitter— asked fans if they had any opinions about roster moves at 8:55 p.m.
