Atlanta Dream coach Nicki Collen was named the WNBA Coach of the Month for her team’s performance during July, the WNBA announced Thursday.

The Dream notched a 9-2 record and a franchise record eight-game win streak during July. The team also went 5-2 at home and won all four games on the road last month.

The Dream (16-10) outscored opponents by 6.4 points in July, averaging 85.5 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. Defensively, the team allowed opponents a 42.3 field goal percentage— second-best in the league— and allowed opponents an average of 79.1 points per game, fourth in the league.

Collen was named Coach of the Month over Las Vegas Aces coach Bill Laimbeer and Seattle Storm coach Dan Hughes.

The news of Collen's honor comes as the WNBA announced Thursday that Dream guard Tiffany Hayes was named the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month for her performance in July.
