Brittney Sykes had 29 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Atlanta Dream Sunday, but Brittney Griner’s two free throws with three seconds left lifted the Phoenix Mercury to a, 65-63, victory.

Griner’s two free throws gave her a game-high 31 points for Phoenix (6-6). Tiffany Hayes added 10 points for the Dream (3-10).

Sykes hit two free throws, Tiffany Hayes and Renee Montgomery made back-to-back 3-pointers and Elizabeth Williams made a layup to cap a 10-0 run that made it 63-all with 16.7 seconds remaining. After Griner's foul shots, Bonner stole a pass from Sykes to seal it.

Sykes posted season highs of 29 points and 10 rebounds. The Dream have lost five of their last six.

Atlanta will return to State Farm Arena Wednesday to host Connecticut, the first of three home games in five days.
