On Monday morning, Dale Earnhardt Jr. responded to President Donald Trump’s comments about NFL National Anthem protests from over the weekend.

During an event in Alabama on Friday night, Trump said NFL owners should fire the “sons of bitches” who protest on the sidelines during the playing of the National Anthem at NFL games.

“All Americans (are) granted rights (to) peaceful protests,” Earnhardt wrote on Twitter. “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable- JFK.”

In response to Trump's comments over the weekend from the Alabama rally and a series of tweets, more NFL players protested by kneeling, sitting or skipping the anthem altogether during the playing of the National Anthem than in any prior week.
