Sony Michel and Nick Chubb were the first former Georgia Bulldogs to take the field in Indianapolis for the NFL scouting combine’s on-field skills assessment. The first drill they participated in was the 40-yard dash, where both posted top-10 times among the running backs invited.

In Michel’s first run -- which can be viewed below -- he ran a 4.58-second 40. He improved in his second attempt down to a 4.54, which was good enough for ninth.

Chubb’s first run was his best on the day. He clocked in officially at 4.52 seconds, which put him in sixth among the running backs.
