What jersey will Georgia wear in national championship game?

Alabama and Georgia will have played in three of the first four college football games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Alabama opened the season with a 24-7 win over Florida State. Georgia won the SEC Championship over Auburn, 28-7. Since 2007, Alabama and Nick Saban are 11-1 in Atlanta. Georgia is the seventh team since 2000 to play for a national title game in their home state. Teams playing for a national title in their home state are 3-3.

Third-ranked Georgia will be the home team in the College Football Playoff Championship Game against Alabama in Atlanta.

The Bulldogs, as the higher-seeded team, are considered the home team an will wear red jerseys.

The Crimson Tide will wear their road white jerseys.

Both Georgia and Alabama were considered the road teams in their semifinal matchups at the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl, respectively.
