There's a reason Cedar Grove's Jadon Haselwood began the season as an AJC Super 11 selection.

He was ranked as the nation’s No. 1 receiver and No. 3 overall prospect for 2019 to start the year.

He was the coaches' choice for 5-AAA player of the year to end the season.

Haselwood has been on Georgia's sights for a while. Haselwood intends to sign during the early recruiting window. He will  make it official on NBC from the All-American Bowl Jan. 5, 2019, in Texas.

On Tuesday, the five-star, 6-3 wide receiver showed why he’s a hot hand.

With 4 seconds left — and trailing Peach County 13-7 — in the Class AAA state final at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Haselwood lined up in the slot at the 22-yard line.

At the snap he dash across the middle and snarled in the game-tying touchdown at the goal line.
