Because of an illness, Kevin Ware didn’t fly with the rest of the Georgia State men’s basketball team to Ames, Iowa on Sunday for tonight’s game against No. 14 Iowa State.

Ware is expected to be cleared by doctors today to be able to fly and has a 2 p.m. flight scheduled so that he can join the team. He has been cleared to play.

The Panthers and Cyclones will tip off at 9 p.m.

Ware, a 6-foot-2 point guard, transferred from Louisville earlier this year. He scored 12 points with five assists in last week’s opening win against Tennessee Temple.
