MR. BEEFY FROM 'LITTLE NICKY': "Little Nicky" isn't exactly Academy Award material, but a bulldog acting as a guide for Adam Sandler still counts for something. When Nicky, the son of an angel and the devil, makes his way to earth, Mr. Beefy helps him acclimate to his new human form and earthly surroundings. Mr. Beefy's street smarts and wisecracking antics deem him as one cool pup.

CHESTY, THE U.S. MARINE CORPS MASCOT: A Marine bulldog? He might be the toughest, grittiest and no-nonsense dog out there. According to the book "Warrior Culture of the U.S. Marines," during World War I many German reports had called the attacking Marines "teufel-hunden," meaning Devil-Dogs. Soon after, the Marines adopted the bulldog to personify the image.

SPIKE, FROM "TOM AND JERRY": Besides Jerry, Spike was perhaps Tom's biggest foe in the 1940s and '50s. Sometimes he was known as Butch or Killer, but whatever his name, Spike tried to muddle Tom's life as much as possible. Though Spike softened somewhat after becoming a father to Tyke in the late 1940s, this bulldog never let his guard down.

TYSON THE SKATEBOARDING BULLDOG: This sporty canine has been skateboarding ever since he was a 1-year-old puppy in 2002. All it took was one session in his backyard for Tyson to amaze his owners with his natural talent. His skills have been featured in TV shows all over the world and in movies like, "Lords of Dogtown" and "Undiscovered." He even served as inspiration to another famous bulldog: Meaty.

MEATY, FROM MTV'S "ROB & BIG": He can skateboard, has a mini-horse as a sidekick and captured the hearts of MTV viewers everywhere. Meaty is the lovable pet of professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and his bodyguard, Christopher "Big Black" Boykin. Meaty is the quintessential Hollywood dog. He embraced the "Do Work, Son" mentality of his owner by becoming a model for Dick Van Patten dog food.
