UGA junior LB Rennie Curran has decided to forgo his senior year and declared for the 2010 NFL Draft.

At metro Atlanta's Brookwood High School, Curran was a star defender and AJC Super 11.

Curran brought his never-say-quit defensive mentality to UGA, powering the Dogs' "D," even in lackluster games. In the 2009 Capital One Bowl, Curran (35, right) sparked the defense against Michigan State.

Should Curran exit early, he'll be missed by UGA fans. The hard-playing LB has become a favorite of Bulldogs Nation.
