UGA’s Travis Leslie already has had his first feud with an NBA rival – and it’s not even draft time.

According to Yahoo's NCAAB Blog, The Dagger, Leslie didn't like being compared with veteran Memphis Grizzlies defensive stopper Tony Allen. In fact, Leslie told DraftExpress.com at the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago on Thursday that he's the superior player.

Leslie, a 6-foot-4 guard from Decatur, said in April he would remain in the NBA draft. He averaged 14.4 points and 7.2 rebounds per game and is known for his high-flying, rim-rattling dunks.

"I feel like I'm a little better than Tony Allen," Leslie said. "Hopefully I can be compared to someone better. He's basically known for his D."

Word got to Allen, who wasn’t happy that a college junior was taking jabs at him.

Allen posted these messages from his Twitter account:

“Who is this dude!!” “Consider the source!! And!! Please don’t mention my name with lames in the same sentence” “I’m just saying!! 1st get drafted!! And get ready!! For bron,, wade! Kobi ginobli, and paul p,!! Cause I been through the fire!! Ya dig”

Leslie backed off from his comments via Twitter, saying he was misquoted and actually said, "If I keep working hard on my game I feel like I COULD be a better player and scorer."
