Georgia defensive back Latavious Brini has reportedly reached a plea deal after his alleged involvement in a February altercation in downtown Athens.

Brini will pay $455 in fines and a probation fee of $45 per month as part of the deal, according to the Athens Banner-Herald.

Brini, a redshirt sophomore who played in five games last season, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct. Two other charges were dismissed.

According to the report, Brini is not allowed in downtown Athens between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m during his six-month probationary period.

Georgia football coach Kirby Smart said at the time that Brini would face internal discipline, and that “hopefully good lessons will be learned that will learn to better choices moving forward.”

In 2017, Brini was accused of attempting to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at an Athens pet store. The felony forgery charge was later dismissed.
