Georgia’s Mike Bobo was named national offensive coordinator of the week. The award came from the 247Sports.com website and was announced by “senior coaching insider” Pete Roussel.

Bobo, in his 14th season with the Bulldogs, oversaw an offense that scored 45 points and racked up 459 yards in just 67 plays (6.9 yard average) in a win over then-No. 16 Clemson this past Saturday. Included in that total was 328 yards rushing, 283 of which came after halftime after the offensive staff made adjustments.

The normally balanced Bulldogs wore out the Tigers with their run-heavy tendencies in the second half and out-scored the visitors 24-0 after halftime and 21-0 in the fourth quarter.
