Georgia fans mount goal posts after the Dogs defeated Auburn in 1959 to secure the SEC championship. It marked the rivalry's permanent relocation to campus sites.

Georgia coach Vince Dooley gets a victor's ride after a 19-14 win at Auburn that clinched the 1982 SEC crown. Dooley was a star player for the Tigers in the 1950s.

Former UGA player Pat Dye won the SEC title for Auburn the following season as he and Dooley continued their epic battles as coaches.

The Bulldog mascot Uga snaps at Auburn's Robert Baker, who taunted the canine after scoring a touchdown in the 1996 game. After being interviewed numerous times, Baker in recent years has declined to discuss the incident.

The Dogs won that game by a 56-49 score in four overtimes, as UGA quarterback Mike Bobo (14) and teammate Kirby Smart embrace.

UGA had another happy return to Auburn when Michael Johnson caught the winning touchdown over Horace Willis in the final moments of the 2002 game. The Dogs clinched the SEC East with a 24-21 win.

Johnson haunts Auburn with a TD catch the following year in Athens as UGA repeated as SEC East champs with a 26-7 win.

In 2004 it was Auburn's turn to earn SEC honors at the expense of its ancient rival as the Tigers defeated UGA 24-6 enroute to an undefeated season.

In another thrilling finish, Auburn kicker John Vaughn reacts after kicking a 20-yard field goal with six seconds on the clock to defeat Georgia 31-30 in the 2005 game.

Auburn's Antarrious Williams celebrates the Tigers' 18th win in Athens in a rivalry that recently has been kind to visiting teams.

Georgia continued that trend as defensive back Tra Battle returned an interception for a touchdown in the 2006 game. Auburn came in ranked No. 5 in the country.

Kregg Lumpkin stiff-arms Auburn linebacker Will Herring on his way to another TD as the Dogs routed Auburn 37-15.

UGA coach Mark Richt enjoys his most lopsided victory over Auburn last year as the Dogs rolled 37-15.

But Richt and Tommy Tuberville maintain a friendly relationship in a rivalry that's endured since 1892.
