“We thought that he had good size and quickness and could do some things that we want to do on the offensive line,” coach Paul Johnson said. “It became apparent to us that he had an interesting in coming back closer to home, so that’s a good fit for us.”
Also Tuesday, three early-enrollee freshmen attended their first day of classes – defensive lineman T.K. Chimedza, linebacker Quez Jackson and safety Charlie Thomas. They will be eligible to participate in spring practice, which will begin in March. All three signed with Tech in the early signing period in December.
