Georgia begins its quest to return to the College Football Playoffs outside the top four in the season's initial poll.

The Bulldogs’ meeting Saturday (3:30 p.m., CBS; News 95.5 and AM-750 WSB) at Kentucky is one of two SEC games this weekend that will test the 13-member CFP committee’s first ranking.

The group’s final rankings Dec. 2 will determine the playoff field, with the top four teams at that point securing berths.

Six teams in the Top 10 will face each other, certainly disrupting the order.
