The Georgia Tech women's basketball team has hired Jim Lewis as an assistant coach. Lewis brings more than 40 years of coaching experience, including spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach and director of scouting for the WNBA's Indiana Fever. He helped the Fever to the 2009 WNBA finals. A native of Alexandria, Va., he was previously the coach at Fordham (2001-06) and George Mason (1984-98), among other places.
