Tech starts with 23 consecutive rush plays

After throwing relatively often against Wofford last week, Georgia Tech opened up keeping it on the ground. The Yellow Jacket ran 23 consecutive run plays to open the game. Quarterback Justin Thomas threw incomplete on his first pass, the sixth play of the second quarter. Those 23 yards gained 123 yards.

Tosses to the A-backs to the perimeter were particularly effective.

Last Saturday, in the season opener against Wofford, Tech quarterback Justin Thomas attempted 15 passes in the game, completing 11 for for 282 yards and two touchdowns.
