Georgia Tech's walk off victory Sunday over Nebraska allowed the Yellow Jackets softball team to come away with a win and a loss in the Kajakawa Classic at Tempe Az.
The Jackets received their first loss of the season when they fell to San Diego State 3-2 on Saturday night.
Sunday Tech's Chelsie Thomas was able to capitalize on a throwing error and come around from first base to score the game winner as No. 23 Tech rallied in the bottom of the seventh for a 6-5 victory over No. 20 Nebraska in its final game of the Kajikawa Classic.
With the victory No. 23 Tech improved to 4-1 on the year. The Huskers drop to 3-3.
